The Church of San Remigio, a historical jewel dating back to the 12th century and renovated in the 15th century, is an extraordinary example of medieval architecture and art. The six cylindrical columns made of raw local stone, with their sober and distinct capitals, are an authentic testament to the past. The recent lighting renovation has breathed new life into the interiors without compromising their historical integrity.
The intervention focused on the optimization of an existing false metal abacus, used as support for a previous installation. This element was adapted to accommodate compact and high-performance LED systems. The vaults are illuminated by linear modules
An advanced radio management system, without additional electrical backbones, allows full control of the lighting via app or wireless and battery-free buttons. This enables rapid transformation of lighting scenarios according to needs: festive celebrations, personal prayers, or simple service lighting. Additionally, a presence sensor automates the system’s on and off functions, making it efficient and eco-sustainable.
