Showroom Wall&Decò Milan: the interior spaces of the Milan store of the renowned wallpaper company are very high, reaching almost 5 meters in height.
Project premises
The client’s request was to have uniform lighting on all the covered walls while highlighting certain details. The use of the Lunar track with increased power was successful in achieving the desired result. The special wallwasher optics can distribute light evenly across surfaces, from the ceiling down to the floor, without any visible reduction in light.
The same uniformity was requested for the basement along the walls of the materials library, where all the wallpaper samples from various collections are stored.
The Lunar track was used to illuminate the walls with displays and special linear fixtures for the tables. To complete the lighting solution for the store, Solar 60 projectors were installed on tracks.
The magnetic secondary optics allowed certain details of the wallpaper images to be highlighted.
System management
The wireless management system CASAMBI enabled the creation of different lighting scenarios dedicated to the store’s opening and closing hours.
In particular:
- in the evening, the store “changes skin”, highlighting only certain details (the Solar 60 remain on), creating an evocative scenario and leading to a considerable reduction in consumption
- ease of control of devices and scenarios via the CASAMBI app for tablet or smartphone
- possibility to change scenarios from the app without having to physically intervene on the devices
