RIMANI illuminates STILL 1492 Never Ending Story, a project by Fidia Falaschetti with Angelino Artworks
Rimani will be present at Milan Design Week 2026 as the technical partner for STILL 1492 – Never Ending Story, a project by Fidia Falaschetti and Ashley Callingbull in collaboration with Angelino Artworks and Galleria Robertaebasta, making its debut thanks to the collaboration with the Via dei Fiori Chiari Merchants Association.
The totem presented this year is not an isolated episode but the evolution of a journey begun by Fidia in 2017, through a series of works dedicated to the relationship between historical memory and contemporary identity. The definition “Never Ending Story” emphasizes the open and continuously evolving nature of the work.
A monumental work that combines aesthetic research, civic engagement, and the highest manufacturing quality, finding a foundational element in light thanks to Rimani’s intervention.
For the occasion, Rimani has developed a bespoke lighting design project capable of interpreting volumes, emphasizing fractures and symbolic tensions of the totem, and guiding the viewer’s gaze on a journey of awareness, defining the sculpture’s verticality and amplifying its presence within the urban space.
Rimani illuminates De / Sign by FIM, in collaboration with Alberto Oliviero Design
Within the same artistic setting of Galleria RobertaeBasta, Rimani will also be present as the technical partner for De / Sign, an installation in collaboration with Alberto Olivero Design, a company specializing in high-end artisanal leather goods, with art direction by FIM – Fabbrica Italiana Motoscafi.
De / Sign explores the profound meaning of sea travel, understood not only as a physical experience but as an emotional and personal process. Every crossing leaves traces: memories, images, objects, and sensations that settle over time and become indelible marks.
Light becomes a narrative language through a backlit wall, created using a dynamic LED Sheet; the light is not static, but reacts and moves as the motorboat passes, visually evoking the wakes, trajectories, and stratifications of memory.
