Rimani collaborated on the lighting project for the facade of Palazzo Doria d’Angri, a building of great historical and architectural value located in the heart of Naples.
This palace, characterized by a late Baroque and Neoclassical style, is located in an area with high vehicular and pedestrian traffic, subject to intrusive public sodium lighting, which emits a yellow-brown light, and private lighting from surrounding commercial activities, with LED sources of varying quality and colors.
Our intervention was designed to harmoniously integrate with the existing context without overly imposing on it. We opted for
For the main front, which faces the lively Piazza Sette Settembre, we selected a few but significant lighting elements. These “luminous signs” were designed to elegantly and gracefully define the facade, creating a balance between the varied lighting of the square and the historical importance of the building.
For these ambitious goals, two products proved particularly valuable: Rain and Longitudinal.
The result is lighting that respects and enhances the architectural heritage of Palazzo Doria d’Angri, while also providing a contemporary and welcoming appearance. We are proud to have contributed to the enhancement of one of Naples’ architectural jewels, once again demonstrating Rimani’s commitment to projects that combine innovation and respect for history.
