Medal Room and Baroque Room of the Bargello Museums in Florence

Rimani had the privilege of participating in the significant renovation project of the *Medal Rooms* and *Baroque Room* of the Bargello Museums in Florence, contributing to a setup that further enhances the displayed artistic heritage.

The intervention, carried out under the supervision of architect Piero Guicciardini, follows the stylistic line already applied in previous renovations of the *Ivory Room* and the *Chapel of the Magdalene*, maintaining a strong aesthetic and functional coherence within the museum.

The main focus of the intervention was the complete redesign of the display cases. The new cases were made with advanced technology to ensure optimal preservation of the works, thanks to airtight sealing that protects from air and dust, and a passive system for controlling relative humidity.

Moreover, the anti-reflective glass and internal LED lighting offer unprecedented visibility, allowing visitors to admire the finest details of the displayed works.

Lighting is another central aspect of the project. Thanks to the use of environmentally friendly LED lights, we managed to create lighting that enhances the beauty of the works without compromising their preservation. The renovation was completed with a completely new graphic apparatus, making the visitor experience clearer and more engaging.

With this intervention, Rimani confirms its leadership in the museum field, offering innovative solutions that improve the enjoyment of artworks and ensure their preservation over time.
