New light for the Grand Gallery of the Royal Palace of Caserta
After a century of closure, the Grand Gallery of the Royal Palace of Caserta has reopened to the public from March 1 to July 15, 2024, returning over 3,000 square meters of restored spaces to the community. Located in the northwest wing of the Palace, this impressive area will be dedicated to temporary exhibitions, enriching the cultural offerings of the historic Bourbon residence.

The technology used includes projectors from the Solar series (Solar100 and Solar60), chosen for their high color rendering (Ra-98/R9-98) and excellent optical quality, with adjustable light beams between 4° and 8°. The system also includes magnetic secondary optics, converter filters, and anti-glare devices for customized lighting.
In the rooms with frescoed vaults, the tracks have been integrated into the perimeter frames, using multifunction profiles (PRO4) that house and conceal the technical elements. Service areas, such as corridors and stairwells, are instead illuminated with linear up&down lighter solutions (Compact30), discreetly installed to maintain the aesthetic balance of the environment.
Thanks to this intervention, the Grand Gallery shines with new light, ready to welcome the public to a unique and engaging exhibition experience.
