Rimani is proud to share that FiBra2025, the Torch and Cauldron for the XXXII FISU World University Games Winter Turin 2025, a project promoted by the Polytechnic University of Turin, has been selected in the ADI Design Index 2025. The announcement took place on Wednesday, October 15, at the ADI Design Museum in Milan.
FiBra2025 represents the intersection of design, research, and Italian manufacturing. The last edition of the Winter University Games in Turin indeed celebrated the union between sport, territory, and community: the torch and cauldron embody this spirit.
Rimani is among the partners involved by the Polytechnic University of Turin in the creation of the torch “La Guarini” and the cauldron “Farò-Éiva.”
The torch “La Guarini”, inspired by the dome of the Chapel of the Holy Shroud by Guarino Guarini, is a symbol of inclusion and knowledge: the hexagons express dynamism, balance, and a striving towards light. The red of the flame recalls the fight against gender violence. A sustainable choice to adopt a LED system instead of gas, reducing consumption and emissions.
The cauldron “Farò-Éiva” combines the symbols of fire and water in an installation that evokes nature, energy, and community, adopting a LED lighting system that reduces environmental impact and with a coating made from scrap metal sheets.
Both are the quintessential symbols of the XXXII FISU World University Games Winter Turin 2025.
A recognition that rewards the value of collaboration between academia and industry, where ideas, research, and production interact to shape ethical and contemporary design.
The ADI Design Index 2025 is the volume that collects the best projects and products that stand out in the Italian landscape, selected by the Permanent Design Observatory. This represents the first step towards the ADI Compasso d’Oro Award 2026, the oldest and most prestigious design award in the world, aiming to highlight the value and quality of Italian design products.
